I worked with Linda Couvreur at Noordam Employment Law to resolve a dispute with a former employer, and I am extremely pleased with both the collaboration and the outcome of the dispute. Linda is an outstanding lawyer – not only is she extraordinarily knowledgeable, strategic, and professional, she goes above and beyond that by being a genuinely caring, kind, and trustworthy person.

In my collaboration with Linda, I never felt like I was just another “case” – I always felt that she saw and understood me and the intricacies of my specific employment dispute. Linda took the time to fully research and understand the dispute and the events leading up it; she was always available and communicative throughout the process; and she was completely transparent in keeping me updated about the costs involved. As an expat, I was not familiar with Dutch employment law and understandably felt distressed about that; however, Linda led me to a resolution of the dispute in the clearest, most efficient, and most professional manner possible.

I first sought legal advice from Mr. Noordam in 2018 in anticipation of a restructure at my company (2000+ employees). At that time, he shared his deep knowledge and experience of Dutch Employment Law, helping me to understand the legal process for employers, and outlining possible outcomes for me as an employee. With this I was able to enter the process fully prepared. I sought his advice again in 2020 during a departmental reorganization, and most recently in June 2021, where he helped me successfully negotiate a settlement agreement for redundancy with my company after 5+ years at a Director level.

My friend has been unjustly and illegally fired by her employer, so we sought for legal assistance via Noordam Advocatuur. I contacted Mr Arnoud Noordam after receiving a settlement agreement from my employer. Arnoud very quickly grasped the background and was able to propose many options to leverage the case. His ability to provide such a succinct response made it a very easy process and one that resulted in a much better outcome than was previously presented. Ms. Couvreur negotiated a termination contract for me, resulting in much more favorable terms than initially proposed by my employer. While I have no prior experience using the services of a lawyer, I ended up gaining much more financially than I had to invest, so I consider that a success.
